SO, you’re about ready to post your latest and greatest content on your Instagram feed, but something hits you all of a sudden. You’ve been hearing A LOT of people mumbling around about the Instagram algorithm and how many changes are happening as of late. You might have even heard someone mention in their Stories about how putting hashtags in your comments doesn’t count anymore. With hashtags being a HUGE reason why people discover your page, you’re probably confused AF about what to do about your Instagram hashtags now.
Well, listen up! In this short post, I’m going to share with you the absolute best way to include hashtags in your 2018 Instagram posts. This is not only going to help you perform better in regards to the algorithm, but it’s going to help you hide those hashtags from your followers.
When I look at the profiles of various creators, all I see are people adding tons of those dots below their caption to bring the hashtags far away from their followers’ eyes. Or I see them added into the caption (which, as I mentioned, DOESN’T count towards engagement anymore!). There’s such a more simple way of doing this.
All you need is this:
No, there’s not a secret message in those brackets that you have to figure out 🕵🏻♂️. It’s much more simple than that! Once you’ve finished writing out your caption and you have your list of your niche’s best hashtags, then you’re just going to copy and paste the spaces within those brackets. That’s right – just keep copying and pasting them until you’ve spaced down far enough!
Sounds too easy? Just give it a try on your next post and let me know how it works out for you! This is exactly the way that I place my hashtags in my posts every single time.
We all know that popular hashtags are a HUGE factor in our growth on Instagram. Whether your goal is to grow by just 100 followers on Instagram or even 1000 followers on Instagram, then you need to know how to properly use hashtags. Hopefully this short post helped y’all out if you’re struggling with that nasty Instagram algorithm in 2018!
